Notify, Go Overseas >24hrs

I am totally unaware that I have to inform Mindef if i'm travelling overseas for more than 24hrs. And for that I was almost fined and charged in court. Cos I travelled twice in dec and the letter only stated one of my trips. (Both trips I left for more than 24hrs)

Kinda worried they'll sent me another one for my 2nd trip.

No excuse though, but I mean honestly, how many of us read the my ORD quiz. I'm one of those who breeze through it on common sense and guessing.

I feel kind of tied down by all these NS commitments, it gets really annoying sometimes.

I just hope I don't get fined or something. Wondering if anyone had received such warning letters before?

during bmt, your commanders shld have told u abt this. either they not doing their job or u not listening. but seriously, how did mindef find out? cannot be so free to check everyone. alot of my frens did this before but didnt get caught.

Yea im using the new biometric ones =(

Anyway lesson learnt, but I only remember during BMT we were taught to apply for excuse recall, but thats only if you're an NSF or Regular.
